Donald E. Latson is the Chief Executive Officer of eMONEco, Incorporated and oversees all aspects of the Company's operations and enriches the Company with more than 30 years of experience in hardware and software development, product design, marketing, sales, business development, strategy, relationship management, and innovation. Latson leads the Company's efforts to establish itself as the premier player in the multi-channel banking, payments, commerce, and remittance sectors. Under Latson's leadership, the Company has completed developing its flagship product/service, "mobile monē," the industry's first single multi-channel banking, payments, commerce, and remittance platform.
Before joining eMONEco, Latson founded JBD Consulting, LLC, while also serving as Vice President of Product Development at U.S. Central Federal Credit Corporate Union, a $50 Billion Financial Services company. Latson is a Milken Institute Global Conference recognized business leader and a Mastercard In Solidarity Product Advisory Council member. Additionally, Latson is a board member of "The Private Skool Village," a non-profit organization that assists young African Americans in entering Parochial Schools and achieving higher levels of education.
A 1986 graduate of Valdosta State University, Latson achieved degrees in Marketing (BBA) and Management Information Systems (BBA). During his college years, Latson was Polemarch (President) of the Lambda Phi Chapter of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Incorporated, a four-year letterman, and a Captain of the Men's Basketball Team.
Latson, a resident of Valrico, Florida, is married to his wife Tracey, a father of five (Darion, Brianna, Jade, Taylor, and Alex); and a proud grandfather of three (Ariah, Alayna, and Payton).
